Registration for the academic year 2026-2027 is ongoing. You can also register for the art school during the academic year. online, by phone and at the community college office at Puistikko 5. Welcome to the art school!

Registration for courses at Riihimäki Art School is now open. in the online store.  Established groups can be supplemented. You can also register for teaching groups during the academic year, if there is space in the groups. It is advisable to register for courses well in advance, as courses are filled in the order of registration. Registration is binding. Cancellation of participation in the art school should be made to the email address taidekoulu@riihimaki.fi

Reading order will be confirmed in June and you will receive final confirmation of the autumn group meeting time. The teaching group will only be established if there are enough registered students. The art school reserves the right to make changes to the program. Class schedule and groups for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Registrations are also accepted by phone, tel. 040 330 4657, and at the community college office, Puistikko 5. The office is open Mon-Thu 12–16 pm and closed on Fridays.

Continued registration art school for the academic year 2026–2027 began on Monday, April 20, 2026, and ended on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. In the follow-up registration, current students of the art school indicate whether they will continue their studies in the upcoming academic year, and in addition, studio-age students choose their preferred studio group. You can choose from two different studio options. You will receive a follow-up registration link three weeks before the actual registration begins. Make your follow-up registration using the HelleWi link, which the office will send to your email. Registration is binding.

Student's contact information

All information about the art school, including the cancellation of a lesson due to a teacher's illness, is sent to the students' guardians by text message or email. That's why, in addition to the student's contact information, we need the guardian's mobile phone number and email address, so that all information will always be received. It is also important for safety reasons that the contact information of the students' guardians is always up to date.

Implementation of teaching

At least a minimum number of students must have registered for the group one week before the start of the lesson. The student's presence at the first meeting is important for the implementation of the teaching. If the group shrinks, we have to consider combining the groups, deviating from the curriculum. If the group cannot be started (the minimum number is not met), we will notify you by text message or email.

One teaching session per academic year can be cancelled without arranging a replacement session.

Billing of course fees

Course fees are invoiced in two installments, the 1st installment in the fall semester and the 2nd installment in the spring semester. We send everyone a paper invoice at home. Unpaid course fees will be collected like other city bills.
