I teach painting groups at an art school. I strive for the ability to marvel at the diversity of life and nature to be reflected in my teaching work as well. I want to encourage everyone to boldly try new ways of working and methods in making art.

I am a visual arts teacher, for whom it is important to help students find their own voice in teaching. Pictures speak and the language of pictures is important. Art school offers students many techniques, ways and methods for self-expression.

I teach basic art education studies to children, young people and adults at Riihimäki Art School.
I have a special area of ​​responsibility for digital art. I am passionate about visual discussions, no matter the technology.

Art school has been my lifelong school, I have taught ceramics and manual skills for 35 years. I am a ceramist by profession, primary art teacher, professional teacher and AMK sociologist. There really is magic in art and making things with your hands; it inspires, delights, develops and supports growth and learning. In my teaching, I give freedom to creativity and at the same time guide long-term and multi-phase work and encourage bold experimentation.
