Continued registration at the art school for the academic year 2026–2027
The re-registration for the art school for the academic year 2026–2027 began on Monday, April 20, 2026, and ended on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. During the re-registration, current students of the art school indicate whether they will continue their studies in the upcoming academic year, and studio-age students also choose their preferred studio group. You can choose from two different studio options. You will receive a re-registration link three weeks before the actual registration begins. Make your re-registration using the HelleWi link, which the office will send to your email. Remember to register in time to secure your place. Registration is binding.
Changes in the operations of the art school
The Riihimäki Education and Welfare Board decided at its meeting on 4.6.2025 June 1.8.2025 to abandon the art school's children's and youth handicrafts line as of XNUMX August XNUMX. The decision is justified by population changes. Riihimäki does not have enough children and young people to participate in the activities so that basic art education could be fully implemented in two different lines. The art school will continue to offer basic art education in the visual arts.
For adults, the handicraft group will continue its activities.
