Service network reform

The goal of the service network reform is to modify the city's service network in such a way that it responds as well as possible to the challenges and opportunities of the future operating environment, both functionally and financially. The service network has been worked on in Riihimäki since 2019. In 2020, the city council decided on the service network for the first time. In 2022, the council reviewed its decision again. After this, the implementation of the decision started.

The council unanimously made two changes to the city government's basic proposal.
