Traffic and streets

Riihimäki has a total of about 260 kilometers of street network and about 130 kilometers of pedestrian and cycling paths. The dense urban structure creates good conditions for reaching services on foot or by bike. Almost the entire station-zoned urban area is within a three-kilometer radius of the railway station.
