In Riihimäki, there are several sites worth visiting in a compact area. The city's most memorable sights are, for example, Rautatienupuisto, Hyttikortteli and the Uimala area, which is especially interesting for families with children in the summer.

Riihimäki offers leisure opportunities for many tastes and for culture lovers, the region is a real treat. There is music, art, theater, high-quality museums and cultural-historical attractions. There are five museums in the city of around 30 inhabitants, the most internationally known of which is the Finnish Glass Museum.
