In Riihimäki, there are several sites worth visiting in a compact area. The city's most memorable sights include Rautatienpuisto park, Hyttikortteli city block and the Uimala area, which is especially interesting for families with children in the summer.

There are five museums in the city of around 30 000 inhabitants, the most internationally known of which is the Finnish Glass Museum.
