The Riihimäki branch of the Red Cross, the city of Riihimäki and Ö-talo together organize a program open to everyone as part of the international anti-racism week from 21st to 27th. March. There will be meeting new people, performances, food culture, activities for young people and coffee for all ages. The week's program culminates in a multicultural celebration with live music.

During the event week, open doors, a Women's club and a Pelirasti will be held at the premises of the Riihimäki branch of the Red Cross. Harjunrinne school has the opportunity to get to know Chinese food culture by cooking. At Monar's Youth Night, there is a functional program related to the week's theme. A stand-up evening will be organized at Ö-talo, where Fathi Ahmed will entertain, and a multicultural closing party, where MA Rouf, who plays Finnish-Kurdish fusion jazz, will perform.

In Riksula, the Suomi cafe of the Red Cross, which is open to everyone, teaches the Finnish language while casually chatting together among the native population and immigrants. In addition, throughout the week there is also the opportunity to take part in making a community artwork. The theme of the bird piece, which symbolizes freedom, is "Similar, but different - free from prejudices like a bird in the sky". The bird-origami made in the workshop will be put together into a joint work, which will be displayed in Riksula.

In all activities of the week, there is an opportunity to participate in the emergency aid collection organized by the Riihimäki branch of the Red Cross to help the victims of the conflict in Ukraine, and to meet volunteers.

During the anti-racism week, there is an opportunity to participate in making a community artwork. Participants participate in the community work by crafting a simple bird origami from paper. Children can participate by coloring pictures of birds. The theme of the bird piece, which symbolizes freedom, is "Similar, but different - free from prejudices like a bird in the sky". Art supplies are available at Riksula Mon–Fri from 9 am to 15 pm. At the end of the week, the birds are assembled into a joint work, which is displayed in Riksula.
