Riihimäki civic college's Skill Weeks start with Thief Departure Week, August 23-26.8 at 16-18.00 p.m.

The competence weeks are part of Sitra's national "Knowledge visible" weeks. The purpose of the weeks is to help people notice their own skills and to spark a public discussion about the value of skills acquired in all ways.

The Civic College office (puistikko 5) is open Mon-Thurs from 10 am to 18 pm and Friday from 8 am to 15 pm.

During the departure week, you have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the college's courses for the academic year 2021-2022, the course teachers and the college's staff. Student works, workshops, sample lessons are on display in the university building, and we accept registrations for courses.

• Tuesday 24.8: language courses are being presented at the university building from 16:18.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX.
• Wednesday 25.8: visual arts, crafts and music courses are presented in the college building from 16:18.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX,
• Thursday 26.8: courses in exercise, dance, well-being and other subjects will be presented in the university building from 16:18.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX. During the evening, a non-stop workshop on "the joy of writing" will be held, as well as the following presentations:

  • At 16.25:16.40-XNUMX:XNUMX Pilates at the school building, instructor Aino Latvala
  • 17-17.30:XNUMX Dance in the Independence park (opposite the university building) or in case of rain in the university building, instructor Leila Mäenpää
