The City of Riihimäki uses social media for communication and discussion. By following the city's social media accounts, you can get information about municipal decision-making, services, news, events and other current issues.

The city's communications and marketing employees are responsible for maintaining, using, evaluating and developing social media profiles. The city's employees monitor social media discussions on weekdays, answer questions and direct the inquirer to the right expert.

• Also, do not link to illegal or inappropriate material.
• Please do not market or sell products or services on our social media channels.
• Racist, sexist or other messages that insult or threaten a person, community or religion are prohibited, as are messages that incite crime and are otherwise illegal.
• Messages that spread conspiracy theories, disinformation, or fake news are prohibited.
• We will remove comments that violate these guidelines, as well as repetitive, inappropriate, and irrelevant comments. We will also remove comments that contain links or other material whose content or authenticity we cannot verify.
• If a user repeatedly violates the page rules, their access to the page may be blocked.
