Riihimäki is done together. Also during the strategy work, the city's future was discussed with the citizens and stakeholders. We wanted to hear the actors' thoughts as widely as possible.

The strategy work project team gathered extensive background material to support the work. The materials are divided into three groups: Material related to Riihimäki, national material and global megatrends and sustainable development.

The background material, resident surveys, and the views and opinions obtained through the workshops created an overall picture of what things we are doing well in Riihimäki and where we should invest.

    Megatrends 2020 (Sitra) focuses on the decade that has started and what the decade looks like and what development costs affect our future and what kind of tensions there are between different megatrends.
