Secure e-mail

This is how you send confidential or sensitive information to the city via secure e-mail service:

• Go to the address in your browser https://turvaposti.rhlseutu.fi/.
• Enter your own email address in the Sender field and press Continue.
• In the Recipient field, add the riihimaki.fi email address you want to send the message to.
• Enter sufficient details in the title, content and attachments of the message.
• Please also remember to write your name and other possibly necessary contact information in the message.
• You can add an attachment by pressing Browse and selecting files from your computer. After selecting, press Add again. You can also delete already added attachments by selecting the attachment and pressing Remove Selected.
• Press the Send button to send the message. You will receive a confirmation that the e-mail was successfully sent.
• End the use of secure e-mail with the Stop button.
• Remember to clear the browser cache after use.

The secure mail service will be completely renewed by the end of 2026. This guide will be updated when the new secure mail service has been implemented.
