On Sunday, March 15th at 14 pm, a public guided tour of the Riihimäki City Museum's Stories from the City exhibition will be organized at Riemu Museums. The public guided tour can be attended for the price of the museum's admission fee. The Museum Card is also accepted as a means of payment.

The exhibition, which opened in early 2026, presents the history of Riihimäki from the Stone Age to the future through photographs, objects and other materials. The exhibition examines the city's key phases and phenomena, such as the prehistory of the area, the history of the railways and the changes in Riihimäki's cityscape before and now. It also features unrealized plans, such as an amusement park and a city center tunnel, as well as well-known people from Riihimäki. In addition, the exhibition reflects on the city of the future and highlights themes related to everyday life, from glass factories to sports clubs.
