The application for the City of Riihimäki's private road maintenance grants has now started. The application period is April 7 - July 7, 2025.

Road municipalities whose email addresses are known to the city will receive the Road Municipality Register usernames on Monday, the week beginning April 7. If the road municipality does not receive the usernames, they can be requested from Matriset Oy's product support, tel. 040 558 9137 or helpdesk@matriset.fi.

The grant is granted as a fixed amount of euros per kilometer during the transition period. The grant typically covers routine maintenance work such as slushing, plowing, dust control, ditch clearing and gravelling. The final grant amount is determined based on the road category and the city's budget.
