Agricultural plots for rent

The city of Riihimäki rents 25 50 m² mulched cultivation plots from Peltosaari's Bad Segeberg park, Marsinkatu 1. The rent is €20 per year.

Apply for plots by February 29.2.2024, XNUMX by email tarja.kantola@riihimaki.fi or by mail to Riihimäki kaupunki, Keskusvarikko, VO Mäkinen katu 2, 11120 Riihimäki. The message must include name, address and phone number. Write the code "farming plots" on the envelope. Plots are drawn if there are more applicants than plots.

The area is unfenced and there is no supervision organized by the city. Irrigation water can be obtained from the nearby park pond or Vantaanjoki. The entire plot area is modified in the spring, weather permitting, and the plots are marked, after which cultivation can begin. Perennial plants and any equipment used in cultivation must not be left on the plots for the following year, but must be removed by the end of October. Parking of cars in the park is prohibited.
