Riihimäki's early childhood education will switch to using the Daisy system from September 1. Both the staff and the children's guardians start using the new system at the same time.

The implementation does not affect the fees or the selectable early childhood education times. The Vaka kukan service, which is currently in use, will no longer be used by guardians on September 30.

Two different systems – DaisyFamily is used daily

In September, two different Daisy systems will be introduced. Through DaisyFamily, caregivers book childcare appointments and communicate with the daycare center. eDaisy is used less often, for example when an application for day care, preschool or afternoon activities has to be made.

In September, the old and new system are in use at the same time

On September 1st, treatment appointments can be made at Daisy two weeks later, i.e. from mid-September. The treatment times for the first half of September have been announced through the Vaka kukan service that is now in use.

Treatment appointment reservations for October can only be made through the new DaisyFamily system. They will be done during the first half of September.

You can access the DaisyFamily service by downloading the DaisyFamily application from the application store of your Android or iPhone phone or from the Daisy link added to the Early Childhood Education Application and Payments website on the last day of August.

Appointments are booked through DaisyFamily

In DaisyFamily, guardians can, among other things, communicate with the daycare center, book the child's early childhood education appointments, check basic information and contact information, check lesson bookings and change the child's permission requests.

Early childhood education applications are made electronically in the eDaisy service

With the introduction of eDaisy, early childhood education will switch to electronic decisions and paper decisions will no longer be delivered.

In the service, you can find an early childhood education application, a pre-school notification, an after-school activity application, and change notifications (for example, a change of address, a change in the choice of the hourly limit for early childhood education, a wish to change the early childhood education place, a statement of income, a notice of termination).

From September 1, applications can be filled out from the link added to the early childhood education application and payments webpage.
