Applications for regular shifts for the summer and winter seasons 2026–2027 are now open

You can now apply for regular shifts for the upcoming season at the facilities of the City of Riihimäki's sports services and culture and welfare department.

Applications for regular sports service shifts for the summer 2026 and winter 2026–2027 seasons are open from February 16 to March 29, 2026.

The application for a regular shift at Antonin talo is open from March 9th to 29th, 2026.

Standard shifts can be requested in the city's electronic booking system (riihimaki.asio.fi).

Decisions on shifts will be sent to applicants by email.

Shift allocation principles

The city processes applications and grants shifts in accordance with the rules. In allocating shifts at sports facilities, priority is given to recreational activities for children and young people.

The shifts at Antonin talo are allocated to associations and organizations to promote the well-being and health of city residents. Shifts are granted free of charge for the free and open activities at Antonin talo. If a standard shift is repeatedly not cancelled and unused, the shift may be charged according to the hourly price list.
