The City of Riihimäki, in collaboration with the Finnish Rescue Services Central Organization, is organizing three lectures with the same content on preparing for emergency situations.

For example, a prolonged power outage can cause a situation where services provided by society are disrupted or even interrupted. Homes should be prepared to cope independently for at least three days in the event of a disruption.

It would be good if you had food, water and medicine at home for at least three days. It would also be important to know how to cope in a cold apartment and where to get the right information in case of a disturbance.

Self-preparedness by households is a great help to society and, above all, to the individual.

Three lectures with the same content will be held at the following times:

  • Wednesday, April 9th, 10 am-12 pm
  • Tuesday, April 15th, 16-18 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 16, 17-19 p.m.

The venue is Riihimäki Library, Samuli Paronen Hall, Kauppakatu 16, Riihimäki.

There will also be a presentation stand for the Voluntary Rescue Service (Vapepa) at the events.

There is no need to register for the event. The space can accommodate 50 people. Welcome!
