The renewal of the road in Juppala will close Risteyskatu to through traffic.

The City of Riihimäki will renew the roadbed of Risteyskatu in the Juppala district at Juppalanlampi. The work will begin on Monday, September 29, 2025 and will end no later than Friday, October 3, 2025.

The work will cause traffic arrangements. The intersection will be completely cut off from through traffic. It is not possible to arrange through traffic through the area during the work.

Access to the properties will remain, but driving routes may change as the work progresses. Rescue, waste management and distribution traffic will be taken into account in the work arrangements.

The old road roller will be dismantled and replaced with a new one. The work may cause noise and dust in the surrounding area.
