The boil water advisory issued in the Etelä-Tammelan Vesihuolto Oy area on August 27 due to a pipe burst will be partially lifted today, Friday, August 29. Boiling water is no longer required on the section of the network leading from Valtaimenkuja to Riihivalkama.

All drinking water and water used for cooking must be boiled for at least five minutes from Valtaimenkuja in the direction of Sukula, concerning the area of ​​the villages of Häiviä, Sukula and Talpia.

Based on the samples taken by the South Häme Environmental Health Service, the cooking advisory can be partially lifted. The representativeness of the samples taken from the Sukula network section on Wednesday, August 27 could not be fully ensured, so as a precautionary measure, the cooking advisory for the area will be maintained until further results are received from the samples taken on Thursday, August 28. The results will be received on Saturday, August 30, after which it will be assessed whether the cooking advisory can also be lifted from the Sukula network section, i.e. the area of ​​the villages of Häiviä, Sukula and Talpia.

South Häme Environmental Health will next collect monitoring samples on Monday, September 1st.
