The water outage in the South Tammela water supply area has ended. The outage was caused by a water main break on August 27, 2025.

Although the water outage has ended, residents in the area must boil their domestic water as a precaution. Due to the burst pipe, the water may contain disease-causing microbes. All drinking water and water used for cooking must be boiled for at least five minutes in the Etelä-Tammelan vesihuolto Oy area.

Due to a water outage, the water coming from the tap may be brown. In this case, water should be run abundantly from all taps until the water becomes clear. If there is no water or the water does not become clear after abundant running, the resident should contact Etelä-Tämmela Vesihuolto. The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
