In September, we celebrate Liikkuja's week - move around for free on buses and city bikes

The European Mobility Week is celebrated annually on September 16-22.9. The purpose of the week is to encourage people to think about their everyday movement choices and their effects on the environment, society and health. All forms of smart movement are on display, such as walking, cycling, public transport and smarter driving.

During the week of the mover, European cities and municipalities organize events to promote sustainable movement. The week ends with Auto's day off on September 22.9.

This year, the theme of Liikkuja week is energy saving. The official participants of the theme week are municipalities and cities, but clubs and associations, for example, are also welcome to organize events.

Free on buses and city bikes all week

In Riihimäki, traveling on R traffic buses and renting city bikes is free of charge during the entire Liikkuja week. In the case of city bikes, free of charge applies to rentals of a maximum of one hour.
