Riihimäki Mayor Jouni Eho invites the city's residents to Anton's House (Öllerinkatu 3) to discuss the future of Riihimäki. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 17 p.m. The event is also the first R-info event for residents of 2025.

– I would like to hear from the city residents what they think the city should be like in, for example, five or ten years. What things are good now and what things the city residents would like to see improved, says Mayor Eho.

In addition to the mayor, the chair of the city council, Miia Nahkuri (sd.) and the chair of the city board, Riku Bitter (kok.), will be present for the discussion. The first fifty people to arrive will be offered coffee and a bun.

Three resident events per year

The city will organize three resident events, or R-infos, in 2025: one in the spring and two in the fall (September and November). All events will be held at Anton's house.

Last year, some of the R-info sessions were broadcast live on YouTube. This year, all sessions will be held face-to-face.

Inclusion is one of the central themes of the strategy of the city of Riihimäki.
