Over 1,400 feedback from Riihimäki residents to the city in 2025

The City of Riihimäki received a total of 1,407 feedback through the electronic feedback service in 2025. This was the second highest number since the introduction of the electronic feedback channel. The city received the most feedback in 2024, when residents sent 1,461 feedback. The city has had the feedback channel since June 2020. The address of the feedback service is palaute.riihimaki.fi.

Last year, almost half of the feedback was about traffic and streets. The second most, or about 22 percent, of the feedback was about culture, libraries, museums and sports. In terms of number, the feedback on sports, and especially the swimming pool, grew the most.

"The number of feedbacks emphasizes issues related to the everyday life and services of city residents. For example, traffic and streets have been the most popular topic year after year. The number of feedbacks on sports increased significantly last year due to the introduction of the new swimming pool," says Communications and Marketing Manager Mia Miettinen.

Response within three business days

The city responds to feedback received through the feedback service within three business days. The median processing time is two days and twelve hours.

The electronic feedback service is one of the city's key customer service channels. A city employee responds to each feedback request. In total, the city has almost a hundred feedback responders.

The service allows citizens to provide feedback, ask questions or make development suggestions. The service can be found on the home page of the City of Riihimäki website.
