The City of Riihimäki will auction off seven social welfare properties it owns. The properties will be sold on the Huutokaupat.com website at the beginning of August.

For sale: school, youth center, office spaces and assisted living units

The following social welfare properties are up for sale:

  • Haapahuhta School, including a nearby residential building and yard area (1,6 hectares). The site is located at Haapahuhdantie 12, 11310 Riihimäki.
  • A facility located in the basement of Hämeentorni (shares numbers 1–1001 /1001–1550). The purpose of the apartment is a youth facility. The property is located at Koivistonkatu 2, 11100 Riihimäki.

The bidding process begins in August

The bidding period begins on August 5, 2025 and ends on November 13, 2025. The bids will be presented on November 25, 2025 to the Technical Committee of the City of Riihimäki, which will decide on the bidding.
