The bidding period for Riihimäki social and health care properties was extended to November.

The bidding period for the auction of social and health care properties owned by the City of Riihimäki has been extended until November 13, 2025. We previously announced that the bidding period would end in September. However, the starting date of the bidding period remains unchanged.

The auction will be decided at the end of November.

The extension of the bidding period will also push other schedules forward. Below are the key dates and actions for the auction:

• The offer period begins on August 5, 2025 and ends on November 13, 2025.
• The auction items can be viewed starting from September 16, 17 or 18, depending on the item.
• Registration for viewing the properties must be submitted no later than September 8, 2025 to the following address: raul.pihlflyckt@riihimaki.fiDuring Raul Pihlflyckt's annual vacation (August 4–29), property manager Sami Stenberg will answer questions. sami.stenberg@riihimaki.fi.
• The bids will be presented on November 25, 2025 to the Technical Committee of the City of Riihimäki, which will decide on the bidding process.

Seven social services properties for sale

The City of Riihimäki has announced that it will put seven social and health care properties it owns up for auction. The properties will be sold on the Huutokaupat.com website.

The properties for sale include Haapahuhta School, a youth center, office space, and 16-hour assisted living units for people with intellectual disabilities.
