Participate in the Stories from the City exhibition at Riihimäki City Museum!
Riihimäki City Museum is organizing a participatory photo collection of Riihimäki's neighborhoods between February 1 and April 30. Photos are welcome from all Riihimäki's neighborhoods and from all eras. The photos can show buildings, streets, as well as other activities related to the cityscape and the lives of residents. Photos from the collected material will be selected for the city museum's Stories from the City exhibition, and the photos will also be saved for posterity in the museum's photo collection.

Collection instructions
The images can be delivered in digital format, or a physical paper image can be brought to the museum for photocopying, in which case it can be returned if desired.
An agreement will be made for the use/donation of the images. There is no charge for the images and related information. The images can be used, for example, in museum exhibitions and other museum activities.
Digital images can be sent by email to the collection contact person at aineisto@riihimaki.fi. In the subject of the email: City district and the name or names of the city district.
Include contact information, the photographer's name (if known), the date of the photo, information about the events in the photo, and the names of the people in the photo.
For physical paper photos, we ask that you arrange a delivery time in advance by email or calling the collection contact person.
In addition, the museum is organizing a photo collection day on Tuesday, February 10, from 11 a.m. to 17 p.m. Come and hear more about the photo collection and, if you wish, bring your own photo. Coffee will also be served at the museum on the collection day. Free admission.
