For the past two weeks, contributor Janne Kataja has been telling about Riihimäki with the help of a five-part video saga. In addition to the city of Riihimäki's website and the city's and Kataja's social media channels, Sisäänheittäjä can currently be found on VR local trains, at the Helsinki railway station, on Ilta-Sanomi's website and at the entrances to Riihimäki.
"Since the beginning of the campaign, the city's social media channels have collected clearly more followers and likes than usual. The feedback received by the city and Kataja has been very positive: for example, the resort is planned to be changed thanks to Sisäänheittäjä, Miettinen says.
All Säinänheittäjä videos are published at riihimaki.fi/inväähättiäjä. On the page, you can also participate in the competition and tell how Kataja succeeded in the work of Sisäänheittäjä. The best comments will be rewarded with a Riihimäki product package.
"Riihimäki is a big small town where anything is possible. Municipal marketing is part of this whole. With the help of marketing entertainment, we are able to differentiate ourselves and bring out Riihimäki and Riihimäki-ness in a positive way. It's great that Kataja agreed to be the face of the city's campaign," says Miettinen.
The inserter is part of the communication and marketing development work of the city of Riihimäki. In 2021, in addition to its website, the city renewed the city's brand and visual appearance. In addition, the city has systematically and successfully increased its visibility.
