The city of Riihimäki's summer job search starts in February

The city's summer jobs will be applied for in Kuntarekry on Thursday, February 1.2.2024, 29.2.2024, and the application period ends on Thursday, February XNUMX, XNUMX.

Every year, the city offers summer jobs to more than a hundred 16-19-year-old Riihimäki residents. In the coming summer, the summer jobs are intended for young people born between 2005 and 2008. The duration of the summer job is a maximum of four weeks and the salary for it is around 940 euros. The work periods take place between May and August.

This summer, summer jobs are available in, for example, communication and marketing, sports center, library, early childhood education, integration and cultural and event services. During the summer, you can take care of sports facilities or parks, work in Senioripuistos, a country swimming pool or even a playground.

The new summer jobs are the tasks of social media updaters for communications and sports services, the tasks of a property maintenance summer assistant, and a period of park work (3 months) in May aimed at abes or other school leavers.

In the selection of summer jobs in the city of Riihimäki, priority is given to those young people from Riihimäki who have not previously had summer jobs in the city. The selections will be announced to all those who applied for summer jobs between April and May.
