Early voting for the presidential elections in Finland starts on Wednesday the 17th and continues for a week until Tuesday the 23.1rd of January. There are three early voting locations in Riihimäki: Atomi shopping center, Merkos shopping center and Riihimäki library.

Remember to take your ID with you to the polling station - a driver's license will also work. The notification card does not have to be with you at the polling station, a photo ID is sufficient. If you don't have an identity document, you can get a temporary identity card from the police department for voting free of charge.

The busiest time of the elections has traditionally been the first and last days of early voting and the actual election day. If you want to avoid congestion, consider whether you can schedule your voting outside of these days. The actual election day is Sunday 28.1.
