On the neighbor's side - a photo contest for the residents of Hyvinkää and Riihimäki

Hyvinkää Kameraseura organizes a photo competition aimed at the residents of Hyvinkää and Riihimäki, the idea of ​​which is to take photos on the side of the neighboring town.

The cities of Hyvinkää and Riihimäki, Aamuposti and Camera Club 50 from Riihimäki are involved in the arrangements. The competition period ends on September 30.9.2024, XNUMX.

The purpose of the Neapurin side photo competition is both to increase the interest of the people of Värnkäälä and Riihimäkä in photography as a hobby and a form of expression, and to offer an opportunity to get to know the neighboring city and look at it with new eyes - the eyes of a photographer.

The competition is open to the public and no previous experience in participating in photo competitions is required. The only real limitation is related to the place of residence of the participants. People living in Hyvinkää can participate with photos taken in the Riihimäki city area, and those living in Riihimäki can participate with photos taken in Hyvinkää. Otherwise, the subject and style of the pictures can be chosen freely.

Competition photos must be taken between 1.10.2023 October 30.9.2024 and XNUMX September XNUMX, i.e. not more than one year old.

The city of Hyvinkää supports the organization of the competition not only by means of a target grant, but also by participating in the judging of the photos taken in Hyvinkää and the work of the competition's management team. Mayor Johanna Luukkonen has promised to be the patron of the competition.

The competition period ends on September 30.9.2024, 2024. The results will be announced in October 1000. The prize is a total of approximately 120 euros worth of prizes; series-specific main prizes are XNUMX euro photo product gift cards.
