Changes to R-kyyti and service bus lines

Kutsukyytipalvelu R-kyyt's background system will change on Monday, January 15, 2024. With the change, there will be changes and improvements to R-kyyt and service lines 11 and 12. In addition, a season ticket valid for 30 days will be available for R-kyut.

R-kyyti is a ride-hailing service that city residents can use to travel to places and times that are not served by scheduled bus services.

A system update has been made to the Routes and Tickets application

Update the Routes and Tickets application on your mobile phone so that you can also order R-kyyti trips in the week starting January 15. Once you've updated the app, you can make pre-orders for trips starting on January 15 as early as January 11.

In connection with the update, the Routes and Tickets application will receive several improvements that will make it easier to order R-kyudit and bring changes to its terms of use. Changes in brief:

• You can find the choices related to invitation ride orders (including aids) more easily than before in the passenger information settings. Assistive devices must always be indicated in the settings.
• If necessary, request pickup from the address in the passenger information settings before you search for the route. In the future, address information will no longer be entered in additional information for the driver. The option to pick up from the address is only intended for people with reduced mobility or those traveling with heavy luggage.
• If you want to pay for the invitation ride in the car or use a valid ticket, select "I pay in the car or I have a valid ticket" as the payment method when ordering.
• In the future, cancellation is possible up to the earliest pick-up time. Any payment will be refunded automatically if there is more than an hour before departure at the time of cancellation. Cancellations made later will not be refunded.

You can make pre-orders by calling from January 15

Pre-orders by calling are only possible from January 15 at 7 a.m.

If you order an R-ride by calling the customer service number, you will receive an order confirmation via text message in the future. Order confirmation will no longer be sent by e-mail.

Orders made by calling will no longer appear in the Routes and Tickets application.

Due to the update of R-kyyt's background system, you cannot yet make pre-orders by calling for the week starting January 15th and beyond.

The order number of the service lines changes

Service lines 11 and 12 can be ordered starting on January 15 from the number 0200 555 35 (1 euro / answered call + date / pmm). The number is the same as the R-ride order number. Tell the customer service representative if you want to specifically order a service line and not an R-ride.

The service line follows the same familiar schedule as before, and you can still get on board without ordering along the route.

In the future, the service line can also be ordered with the Routes and Tickets application in the same way as R-kyydi. In the application, the service can be found under the name R-palvelulinja.

A season ticket will be used for the R-ride

From January 15, a season ticket, which is valid for 30 days, will be added to R-kyyt's ticket products. The ticket is valid for traveling on R-rides and regular services.

The price of an adult R-ride season ticket is 60 euros. The ticket price for children and young people (ages 7–19) is 30 euros.
