Tourism entrepreneur, check your information on the Visit Riihimäki website

Visit Riihimäki invites tourism entrepreneurs from the Loppi, Riihimäki and Hausjärvi areas to develop the region's tourism website. The Visit Riihimäki website has been in use since 2021.

"New companies are coming to the area, but unfortunately we don't get information about everyone. It would be great if entrepreneurs would become more active and tell us about themselves if their company's information is missing or has changed," says Mia Miettinen, Communications and Marketing Manager from the City of Riihimäki.

Instructions for adding and updating information

Before writing and submitting your own information, visit the Visit Riihimäki website and check what information about your business is on the travel website. Here are some quick instructions on how to add or update your information.

• If necessary, send a good quality landscape photo that clearly shows the company's service or operations. Functional photos are more interesting than photos of buildings.
• If necessary, send a text describing your company's operations. Please note that the text must be short, only 2–3 sentences long.
• Visit Riihimäki reserves the right not to publish information or to edit it in order to maintain a consistent tone and style of the site.
• Send the photos and texts to your city or municipality's communications with the title Visit Riihimäki:

Visit Riihimäki's tourism priorities are nature, culture, well-being and local life. With this in mind, the website has been built as a whole, presenting a wide range of services, destinations, accommodation options and events in the area. The most popular content on the site includes pages about restaurants, cafés and events.

The Visit Riihimäki website and social media channels are maintained by the communications staff of the city of Riihimäki and the municipalities of Loppi and Hausjärvi. The Visit Riihimäki website can also be accessed using the domains visitloppi and visithausjarvi.
