The high school's wasteful dining program has ended - wasteful food will now be available through the ResQ app

Riihimäki Upper Secondary School has ended its food waste-reducing meal service due to low attendance. It will be replaced by the option to reserve leftover school food via the ResQ application starting April 1, 2026.

Palmia Oy notifies customers of leftover lunch via the ResQ app. The customer reserves the desired product in the app, pays for it via the app and picks up the food on site at the specified time.

The application is already in use at Harjunrinne School. The application can be downloaded free of charge from your mobile phone's app store.
