Lecture: Famous chairs and stories from art history on January 18th at Riemu Museums

Riemu Museums will host a lecture on Saturday, January 18 at 14 p.m. entitled “Famous chairs and stories from art history.” Lecturer: FL Tuija Vertainen.

The lecture will tell the stories of chairs familiar from art history and the people who sat on them from different centuries. The lecture is part of the joint exhibition of Riihimäki City Museum and Riihimäki Art Museum, The Story of a Chair, which leads the viewer through centuries and history, presenting chairs, objects and art.

The lecture is included in the price of the museum admission ticket. The event lasts approximately one hour.
