Riihimäki's Lempi festivals celebrate love and community on August 12-14.8.2022, XNUMX. Lempi is a new, fun and daring city event that was born as a result of Riihimäki's national event competition. The event is produced in cooperation with the City of Riihimäki and Magnum Live Oy.

The goal of Lempi festivals is to fill the city with happy people and good spirits, and to build a sense of community, strengthen relationships and find love for Singles in a playful way. Festivals enable new encounters by creating a romantic and delicious setting where people meet each other.

"The idea of a love festival has been simmering in my mind for a long time and the event competition was a great way to bring it out. It's great that the important theme of love was taken up. Let's hope for a wonderful event where Cupid's arrows fly", paints Laura Jatala, the mother of the idea.

During the weekend on Riihimäki, you can enjoy wonderful concerts and dancing, enjoy love stories and pamper your mind and body. Culture trips are crowned with food from hotels, restaurants and street kitchens.

"It's nice to be able to do a new event that seems to inspire everyone. Kindness is a wonderful thing that you can never have too much of,' says Anna Vesén, the cultural producer in charge.

Lempi-festar's versatile and surprising program will be revealed in its entirety during the summer. The free main concert at Granit Square will feature the charming Jani Forsman & The Sleepwalkers as ambassadors of love, and the delightful Erin as the star artist. Songs of love are also taken to nursing homes, where Janne Tulkki performs. You will also hear and see a lot of wonderful local talent on the stages; choirs, poetry and dance groups. The couple dances are paced by the dance orchestra Weranta, and great DJs create the atmosphere in the singles disco. The captivating Diandra will perform at the Lasimuseo concert, and Seela Sella and Esko Roine will be seen on the theater stage. Even in movies, the library and museums, the atmosphere is filled with love.

On Friday and Saturday, it is known to be fast-paced in Granit Square, in the city's restaurants, and also on Riutanharju. On Sunday, as a counterweight, soft and soulful experiences are offered in the yard of the city museum, where the idyllic Rakkauspuisto is being built. Among other things, yoga, life wisdom and a love picnic are offered. The love park program ends with Happy End – Just Love
- for joint meditation.

"Festari's love theme also offers participation opportunities for companies in the area, which have already been well received. Companies can produce services that fit the theme or join the market frenzy with cute offers," encourages the director of vitality, Mika Herpiö.

The more detailed program of Lempi festival will be published on the Riihimäki city website during June. There can also be a program that fits the theme, performers and market vendors.
