Survey on the Marjapuisto playground opened

The renovation planning of the Marjapuisto (Marjatanpuisto) playground in the Lemmenmäki district of Riihimäki is about to begin.

Marjapuisto users can participate in the planning by responding for a short survey. The survey is open until 13.11.2024 November XNUMX.

Marjapuisto has previously been called Marjatanpuisto, but the park's correct name in the site plan is Marjapuisto. In addition to opinions about Marjapuisto, you can share your thoughts on the landscaping of Tellervonpolu's green area in the survey. The Tellervonpolu playground was removed in 2022 in accordance with the Riihimäki playground program, but the landscaping of the area is in progress.

Marjapuisto's renewal is planned for next year, but its allocation will be decided in the city's budget for 2025. The city council will approve the budget at the end of the year.

There are about 40 playgrounds on Riihimäki

Riihimäki has about 40 different playgrounds in different parts of the city. On average, the playground is fundamentally improved every 15 years. The city's playground program 2022-2030 gives indications of when any local playground is due for renovation. The goal is to fundamentally improve about 1-3 playgrounds per year.
