The pedestrian and bicycle path on Kulmala Park Street will be improved in the summer

The City of Riihimäki is starting the construction of the Kulmala Puistokatu light traffic lane between Eteläin Viertotie and Paloheimonkatu. The lane is currently inseparable from the roadway. The project also includes the construction of a stormwater line and grate culverts.

The walking and cycling route will be structurally delimited from the roadway, and at the same time, drainage, lighting, and the visibility and safety of the pedestrian crossing at the Paloheimonkatu intersection will be improved.

Work will begin the week of Monday, June 29. The work will last approximately two months.

The work is being carried out by Visioninfra Oy.
