From October 10, 2024, you can pay the fees accrued to your customer account in the Ratamo online library. In the online library, you can only pay VAT-free payments, i.e. late payment and reminder fees, reservation fees and interlibrary loan fees. Other payments, such as invoiced materials, can still only be paid at the library's customer service.

If you want to pay your library fees online, log in to the online library at ratamo.finna.fi and select My account and Payments from the drop-down menu. In payments, you will find the Go to payment button, by clicking which you can pay payments in your online bank.

If you still have overdue loans, you should renew them before paying if possible, because the late fees will only be updated to your account after the loan has been renewed or returned. In other words, the account may receive additional payments after renewal or refund.

There is no minimum payment limit for payments, you can pay off even small payments immediately. However, the amount to be paid cannot be chosen, but all payable payments must be paid at once. However, you do not have to use the online payment, but all library payments can still be processed in libraries as well.

You can also pay the library fees of your dependents under the age of 15 through your own account. First, attach the child's library card to your own account in the Ratamo online library (My account -> Library cards -> Attach library card). You need the child's Library card number and pin code to connect. After that, you can select the library card you want to pay for in the Payments section.
