At the Kinturinmäki landfill, city residents' raking and leaf waste is accepted free of charge on two days in May:

• on Thursday 4.5.2023 May 9.00 from 15.00:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m
• on Saturday 13.5.2023 May 9.00 from 15.00:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m

Please note that scraping and raking waste must be separated. Compost waste is not accepted. The landfill is located at Kinturinkuja 1, 11120 Riihimäki.

At other times, Kiertakapula's waste treatment areas in Hämeenlinna (address: Karanojantie 145) and Hyvinkää (address: Kapulasillantie 2) receive raking waste free of charge Mon–Fri from 7.00:19.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

The twigs can also be disposed of by using a branch shredder and spreading the wood chips under the bushes or as bedding in the compost.
