Changes to non-urgent veterinary services on Friday, March 28, 2025

Some veterinary appointments at the Riihimäki branch of the Southern Häme Environmental Health Service have been cancelled and postponed to a later date. Customers have been contacted personally. Situations requiring emergency care are being handled as normal at the branch.

The changes are due to a burglary at a veterinary clinic in Peltosaari (Linnunradankatu 5–7). The burglary occurred on the night of Thursday 27th and Friday 28th March shortly after midnight. The police are investigating the crime.

The task of South Häme Environmental Health is to ensure a healthy living environment and safe food for residents, as well as to arrange the necessary veterinary services for domestic animals in the area and ensure the well-being of the animals.
