Special opening hours for summer 2026

Check out the special opening hours at our branches during the summer. Many branches in the city are closed in July.

Tietotupa and telephone exchange

The Tietotupa customer service point and cash desk are closed from June 29 to July 26.

The switchboard is open weekdays from 8 am to 16 pm, except on Fridays from 8 am to 15 pm. 019 758 4000.

In the summer you can leave feedback in the city's feedback serviceHowever, there may be a delay in responding to feedback due to staff holidays.

Education and welfare

Early childhood education

From June 29 to August 2, daycare centers and family daycare are only open to those who have booked the daycare in advance.

The Piikinmäki and Uramo daycare centers are open for emergency care during the summer.

South Häme Environmental Health (Kallionkatu 10–16 C)

Riihimäki will not accept private water samples from June 29 to July 26, and new sample kits will not be available during this time.

In the summer, acute patients are primarily treated in veterinary care. There may be a delay in accessing non-urgent patients.

South Häme Employment area (Temppelikatu 2)

Customer service is open throughout the summer on weekdays from 9 am to 15 pm.

International House Riihimäki is open on weekdays in the summer from 9 am to 15 pm at Temppelikatu 2.

Customer service is closed from July 13th to July 24th.
