The city of Riihimäki wants to collect residents' opinions about the meaning and functionality of participatory budgeting in our city.

Inclusion is one of the central goals of the strategy of the city of Riihimäki. Inclusion is implemented in Riihimäki in many different ways. One way is participatory budgeting, where residents get to decide how the public funds available to the city are used.

The goal of participatory budgeting is to ideate, decide and realize an even better and more functional home in Riihimäki. In Riihimäki, 100 euros have been set aside annually for participatory budgeting. Proposals on how that amount should be used can be made by private individuals, communities and groups freely gathered around the topic, such as clubs, school classes or hobby groups.

You can answer about budgeting participating in the resident survey from 18.6 June to 4.8.2024 August XNUMX. The survey can be answered online from this link. You can answer the survey with a paper form in Tietotuva and Riihimäki library. Please note that the Information Center is closed from the 1st to the 28th. July.

Answering the survey is anonymous. It takes about 5 minutes to answer.
