The city offers fields for rent for 2026–2030

The City of Riihimäki is offering arable land for lease for active farming and fallow land for a period of five years, from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2030.

The leased fields offered are divided into 11 different areas. Most of them are outside the local plan area. The fields are leased to professional agricultural entrepreneurs or agricultural associations with a farm code.

Offers must be made region-specific and delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to the Riihimäki Land Use Area by 13:00 on 16 April 2026 at the latest to the address Riihimäki City / Land Use, Eteläinen Asemakatu 4, 11130 Riihimäki. The envelope should be marked “Farmland Rental 2026”.

The lease agreement is made according to a model approved by the city.
