Opening hours of city services in July

Many city offices will be closed from June 30 to July 27, 2025 due to staff annual holidays. The city's customer service point Tietotupa will be closed during this time.

The switchboard is open during the summer from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 16 pm and on Fridays from 8 am to 15 pm at 019 758 4000.

There may be delays in responding to feedback sent through the city's feedback service system in July.

Early childhood education

Daycare centers and family daycare are open from June 30 to July 31 only for those who have booked summer emergency care. The daycare centers on Junailijankatu, Piikinmäki and Uramo are open for summer emergency care.

Senior Park Fun is organized from May 19 to August 15 as an activity open to everyone in the city's parks every weekday.

The library has slightly shorter opening hours in the summer. The self-service library is open longer.

Youth services

Youth Center Monari is open from June 2nd to 17th on Tuesdays and Fridays from 18 pm to 22 pm, the age limit is from 6th graders to 20 years old.

Café pOint for young adults (18-29 years old) is open all summer at Monari on Wednesdays from 16-20 pm.

Outreach youth work is open throughout the summer. Outreach youth work offers culture and summer activities for 18-29 year olds on Tuesdays from 17 June to 29 July from 14-15 pm. For more information, contact Anu, tel. 040 7010 473.

Ohjaamo is open from June 30 to July 4 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 13 to 16 p.m.

The Ohjaamo is open from July 7th to 27th on Wednesdays from 13 pm to 16 pm. In addition, the Ohjaamo remote advice service is open on weekdays via phone and email.

Environmental health in South Häme

There is no actual summer closure at health surveillance and veterinary clinics.

In the summer, acute patients are primarily treated in veterinary care. There may be a delay in accessing non-urgent patients.
