City vehicle involved in traffic accident on Monday, March 31

A car driven by a city employee and a man riding an electric scooter collided on Monday, March 31, 2025, at approximately 8 a.m. in the Riihimäki city center. The accident occurred at the intersection of Kulmala Puistokatu and Voimalankatu. The driver of the electric scooter was seriously injured in the collision.

Police, fire engines and an ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident. The driver of the electric scooter was rushed to hospital by medical helicopter.
