The relocation of Ilveskatu begins with tree felling

Due to a change in the city plan, the current Ilveskatu in Hirsimäki will be moved to a new location this year.

The street relocation project is estimated to begin in May 2026. Preparatory work is currently underway in the area. The trees designated for removal in the street relocation plan will be felled on March 30-31, 2026, before the start of the bird nesting season. The start of the actual street construction work will be announced later.
