Street plan changes for Ilveskatu, Lasitehtaantie and Salkokatu on display

The street plan proposal for the relocation of Ilveskatu, the change of Lasitehtaantie and Salkokatu is on display.

The aim of the street plan change is to move the street to the location indicated in the plan change. On Lasitehtantie, preparations are being made to change the turning lane on Ilveskatu and the combined sidewalk-cycle path to a separated one. At the same time, the conditions for walking and cycling, as well as the lighting, will be improved.

The Ilveskatu 2, Sako town plan amendment entered into force on 6.5.2024th of May XNUMX. The new town plan combines the properties owned by Sako Oy located on the east and west sides of Ilveskatu into a unified area serving the company's operations and enables the expansion of the current factory hall towards Ilveskatu. With the combination of the properties, Ilveskatu will be moved to the western edge of the area.
