Construction of the stormwater line will begin in Huhtimo on July 6th.

The City of Riihimäki will begin construction of a stormwater line in the Huhtimo area on Monday, July 6, 2026. The construction work will focus on the area between Kanervakatu and Kaskitie.

The project involves the construction of approximately 90 meters of new stormwater line. The work involves stormwater management and the discharge of stormwater into the city's network. The contractor is RTA companies, and the estimated duration of the project is approximately six weeks.

Construction work is generally carried out on weekdays between 7:00 and 18:00.

The work will cause temporary disruption to traffic in the work area. Speed ​​limits will need to be reduced at the site, and the contractor is responsible for traffic arrangements and site security during the work.

The City of Riihimäki apologizes for the temporary inconvenience caused by the work and thanks those traveling in the area for their patience.
