Temporary traffic arrangements on Eteläinen Asemakatu from February 12.2.2024, XNUMX

The construction of a new residential area in Jokikylä and the related relocation of the Vantaanjoki require the water supply lines passing through Jokikylä to be moved to a new location between the railway - the area between Matkakeskus and Virastokeskus Veturi - Etelainen Asemakatu - Saranpää. The works have started in November 2023 and will be completed in June 2024.

The contract affects the traffic arrangements in the area. During the work, part of the streets will be closed to traffic for the sake of construction site driving and safety. The construction site also increases truck traffic in the surrounding area during the construction period.

Due to the works, there will be temporary traffic arrangements on Eteläinen Asemakatu (between Paloheimonkatu and Kulmalan Puistokatu) from Monday 12.2.2024 February XNUMX. The temporary traffic arrangements will last until the end of March. Driving through Eteläinen Asemakatu is prohibited during the works. The map below shows the detour. Access to properties in the Urakka area by vehicles will initially be from Eteläinen Asemakatu from the north and later from the south.
