Elastinen to be the keynote speaker at the business fair – over 40 exhibitors coming to the fair, which will be held for the first time in Riihimäki

One of the most well-known names in the Finnish music world will be the guest speaker at the first-ever Momentum business fair. Elastinen will take to the stage to talk about his career and journey to the top.

During the interview, Elastinen tells how he has built his long career as an artist. At the same time, we learn what courage, perseverance and believing in one's dreams mean to a musician. The themes of Elastinen's song "Eteen ja õppäs" serve as a common thread in the interview. The song is one of Elastinen's most well-known and popular.

"The secret to a long career is to believe in yourself and recognize that you have the gifts for this. In difficult times, you have to rely on your past successes and trust that one day you will succeed again. You just have to keep going and find ways to enjoy the hard work," says Elastinen.

Elastinen is one of Finland's most popular and successful artists. In addition to her solo career and Fintelligens, her career focuses on the record label Rähinä Records, as well as music-focused TV productions and talk shows.

After the interview and performance starting at 13 p.m., Elastinen will meet her fans in the fair arena. In addition to Elastinen, there will be work demonstrations and company presentations on the fair stage. All events on the stage will be streamed to the media cube on the roof of the arena, so it is easy to follow the fair program from the arena stands.

Over 40 exhibitors

Over 40 exhibitors have already registered for the business fair to be held in Riihimäki on Saturday, October 3. The range of companies is diverse: companies from all four municipalities in the Riihimäki region are participating, and the industries vary from IT operators to municipal farmers.

"There is a clear need for the event in the region. Entrepreneurs have enthusiastically welcomed the event. I am confident that the free event and diverse program will also interest the residents of the region," says Tomi Hänninen, Event Manager at Business Riihimäki.

Up to 5,000 visitors are expected to visit the fair to learn about local services, find new businesses and meet entrepreneurs in their own region face to face. The aim of the event is to make the region's businesses known, increase cooperation and strengthen the vitality of the region. At the same time, local residents will get to know the businesses, services and expertise of their own region.

Six main partners

The main partners of the Momentum business fair are Annia Law Firm Ltd, OP Häme, Hyria Ltd, Aarnio Accounting Firm, Louhi Law Firm Ltd and OmaSp.

"For the fastest entrepreneurs, there is even a dedicated exhibition stand. In addition to stands, companies also have other cooperation opportunities. For example, two of our main partners are working together to offer breakfast to exhibitors before the start of the exhibition," says Hänninen.

In addition to the interior of Cocks Areena, the fair will also spread out into the arena's courtyard, where logistics services provider KM Viita Oy and car dealership Auto-Sorsa Oy will be present. In addition, Hyria Oy, which offers education, coaching and rehabilitation services, will bring a driving simulator truck to the area. Thirsty and hungry fair visitors will be served both on the ground floor and in the cafeteria on the second floor of the arena.

The free event is open to the public on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. During the day, Cocks Areena (Hj. Elomaan katu 4, Riihimäki) will feature company presentations, speeches, entertainment and other programs for visitors of all ages. The arena is easy to get to, located one kilometer from Riihimäki train station.

The business fair is organized by Business Riihimäki, the Riihimäen Yrittäjät ry and the City of Riihimäki in cooperation with the municipalities of Hausjärvi, Janakkala and Loppi, as well as entrepreneurs and entrepreneur organizations.
